Richten Energy, AIH Foundation, and the Taiwan Smart Net-Zero Building Alliance have signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MOU) during the 2050 Net Zero City Expo, marking a step forward in expanding Taiwan’s net-zero building technologies into international markets.

The signing reflects a growing effort to integrate renewable energy, building innovation, and global collaboration as part of the broader transition toward sustainable urban development.

Strengthening international collaboration and industry integration

The Taiwan Smart Net-Zero Building Alliance serves as a platform connecting policy, industry, and technology stakeholders to accelerate the development of net-zero buildings. Through this partnership, the alliance aims to support the integration of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and lifecycle carbon management across building systems.

AIH Foundation, affiliated with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, focuses on connecting Asian innovation-driven companies with global capital markets and international resources. As part of this collaboration, Richten Energy has been selected for international incubation programs, supporting its expansion into global markets.

Advancing façade-based solar applications

Richten Energy continues to develop its Recyclable Application of Colored-Painted Solar Panel Coating technology, enabling the integration of solar generation into building façades.

By transforming building surfaces into energy-generating interfaces, colored PV systems allow buildings to contribute to urban energy systems while maintaining design flexibility and site compatibility.

Supporting the transition to net-zero cities

The collaboration highlights a shared vision to accelerate the adoption of net-zero building solutions through cross-sector partnerships. By combining policy support, industry capabilities, and international innovation networks, the initiative aims to create scalable models for sustainable urban development.

As cities continue to address climate challenges and energy transition, such partnerships are expected to play a key role in advancing both technological deployment and global market integration.
