Promoting Community Integration and Advancing a New Vision for Renewable Energy

Richten Energy has partnered with local stakeholders to develop a colored solar PV demonstration project at Zuoying Wenwu Temple in Kaohsiung. By applying its proprietary colored solar PV coating technology, Richten Energy has transformed a traditional public and cultural space into a renewable energy facility, demonstrating how clean energy technology can be integrated into everyday community environments while supporting ESG goals and the transition toward net-zero emissions.

Project Objectives

The project is designed to demonstrate how renewable energy solutions can be introduced into community settings in a way that is visible, measurable, and replicable. By integrating power-generation capability into a public space, the project serves as a local model for renewable energy education and environmental awareness.

It also shows how colored solar PV can move beyond purely functional infrastructure and become part of a community’s visual, cultural, and educational experience.

Project Implementation

For this project, Richten Energy used its colored solar PV coating technology to create an energy-generating installation that fits naturally into the surrounding site.

Hardware configuration:
The system consists of five 595W colored solar PV panels, with a total installed capacity of 2.975 kW.

Functional application:
The electricity generated during the day can be used to support nighttime lighting and public charging functions.

Public engagement:
An on-site environmental information display has been integrated into the project to strengthen public interaction and support green energy education.

Through this colored solar PV system, the project demonstrates that renewable energy infrastructure can maintain strong performance while blending more naturally into public and community spaces.

Project Value

This project highlights several key advantages of Richten Energy’s colored solar PV solutions.

Environmental integration:
The project successfully introduces renewable energy into a community-based public and cultural setting.

Visible and measurable outcomes:
It creates sustainability results that can be seen, understood, and measured by the public.

Stronger ESG awareness:
By encouraging public participation, the project helps raise broader awareness of sustainability, renewable energy, and carbon reduction.

Modular development potential:
The project establishes a renewable energy model that can be expanded and replicated in other public and community environments.

By combining power generation with the revitalization of public space, the project shows how renewable energy can become part of everyday community life rather than remaining separate from it.

Toward a Scalable Community Energy Model

Through demonstration projects such as the Zuoying Wenwu Temple installation, Richten Energy continues to explore how colored solar PV technology can support broader renewable energy applications in public and community environments.

Moving forward, Richten Energy will continue developing sustainable solutions that are practical, scalable, and visually adaptable, helping communities adopt renewable energy in ways that are both functional and compatible with their local surroundings.
