Zuoying Wenwu Temple Colored PV Community Project

Richten Energy 32

Advancing renewable energy through community integration

Richten Energy collaborated with local partners to develop a colored PV demonstration project at Zuoying Wenwu Temple (左營文武聖殿), transforming a public cultural space into a renewable energy installation using our colored PV coating technology. The project highlights how renewable energy can be integrated into everyday environments while supporting ESG and net-zero initiatives.

Project objective

The project aimed to demonstrate how renewable energy solutions can be introduced into community environments in a visible, measurable, and replicable way. By integrating energy generation into a public space, the project serves as a local model for promoting renewable energy adoption and environmental awareness.

Solution implementation

Using our colored PV coating technology, we developed a customized installation using colored PV panels to create a visually integrated energy feature within the site.

The system includes five 595W colored PV panels with a total installed capacity of 2.975 kW, enabling daytime energy generation to support nighttime lighting and public charging functions. The installation also incorporates on-site environmental information displays to enhance public engagement and education.

Through our colored PV systems, the project demonstrates how renewable energy infrastructure can be deployed within community spaces while maintaining functional performance.

Project value

This project highlights several key advantages of colored PV solutions:

  • Integration of renewable energy into community and public environments

  • Creation of visible and measurable sustainability outcomes

  • Support for ESG awareness through public engagement

  • Development of scalable and replicable renewable energy models

By combining energy generation with public space activation, the project demonstrates how renewable energy can become part of everyday community experience.

Toward scalable community energy models

Through projects like this, we continue to explore how colored PV technology can support broader renewable energy adoption across public and community environments.

Richten Energy remains committed to developing colored PV solutions that enable practical, scalable, and visible sustainability applications.
