What is an I–V curve?

Richten Energy 15

An I–V curve (current–voltage curve) represents the electrical performance of a solar panel by showing the relationship between current and voltage.

It is used to identify the maximum power point (MPP), where the panel produces the highest output. By analyzing the I–V curve, system performance can be evaluated under different sunlight and operating conditions.
